Eric wins 2 Wammies for 2009! The Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) announced it's 2009 Wammie winners at it's annual Awards Gala on Feb. 28, 2010 at the State Theater in Falls Church, VA. Eric was nominated for Adult Contemporary Vocalist and Adult Contemporary Instrumentalist, and he won both categories. He was
quoted as saying, "thanks to all the little people who..." before someone cut him off.
So...his response has been shortened to..."thanks!"

New Music is coming!
Eric is currently writing new music for his as yet untitled album no. 4. He hopes to enlist a producer and begin recording before the year ends. A recent collaboration with Scott Smith of Naked Blue titled "The Words" has me very excited...stay tuned!
Tracks
Eric will also be writing the original music for the upcoming indie film "Tracks." The movie is currently shooting in NYC, Baltimore, and West Virginia. A dark, gritty film with a great script, He's very excited to be involved in this project with Big House Digital and director Kevin Settle. More details coming!
Eric on Starz Network and Cinemax
Eric's song "My Heart Belongs To You" will be appearing in the upcoming Starz Network movie "Table for Three." His song "More Than A Little" is now playing in the Cinemax cable TV series "Co-Ed Confidential." Eric's song "Life of the Party" appears in the Season 1 DVD of "WKRP in Cincinnati" and his song "Starting Today" appears in the Season 4 DVD of the WB TV show "Felicity"
Eric performs for troops at Walter Reed Army Hospital
The Songwriters Guild of America invited Eric, country star Pam Tillis, multi-platinum songwriter and SGA president Rick Carnes, and singer Bob Sima to perform for recuperating soldiers at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Eric was joined by guitarist Mike Stacey for this truly unforgettable afternoon.

Eric wins second Wammie Award
Thanks a lot to the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) for awarding Eric the 2007 Wammie Award for Urban Contemporary Vocalist for the album "RED." Many thanks to all of the musicians and members who's votes led to this award. Eric also won a 2002 Wammie Award for Blues Duo/Group as bassist with the Deanna Bogart Band. Eric on HGTV
The theme song for the HGTV show "Sleep On It" is a version of the classic rock tune "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf. Meat couldn't make the recording session, so Eric stepped in to sing his parts and play bass. Baltimore artist Niki Barr sings the Karla Bonoff parts. "Sleep On It" airs Wednesdays at 10:30pm eastern and pacific time.
